This year I visit the kleine fabriek in a new hall on the north side of Amsterdam RAI. Parking is possible in front of the door, so I am quickly inside. I discover a new babyclothing line of Shoesme, known for children’s shoes. Making babyclothes is a logical step, they tell me, because shoes are always designed with a dressed child in mind. Tumble ‘n Dry is now bringing its first Zero collection for babies up to size 74. They entitle this collection as trendy, portable and attractively priced. Baby Label Gymp is known for its soft pastels but now they make a black and white collection and with success. At Bunnies we see new cool shoes and booties made of shiny materials. Petit Villain offers beautiful babyrompers made from organic cotton, packed by two in pastel shades. Maguari introduces a great new brand: Nanami. Beautiful styled bedding and textiles for the baby’s room with Scandinavian and Japanese influences. At Snoozebaby we find blankets of knitted cotton in uni colours and a new baby textile collection. At Proud Mama we spot mommy jewelry in pink gold. And we make a chat with Fresk and have look at the new suitcases, stacking blocks and they have created a special folder to store the most beautiful drawings. Very nice. In between we hear Fiona Coleman telling about latest color trends for children and then it’s five o’clock, time for a drink for exhibitors and time for me to go home! Below a photo impression of the babynews, have a look!
